The Emily Tree

Personal Project – 2015

The Emily Tree aims to inspire young British women into politics, be that grassroots activism or marching through the doors of Westminster Hall as a Member of Parliament.

The group takes its name from Emily Davidson, the suffragette who died by stepping in front of the King’s horse at the Epsom Derby in 1913.

The identity is based on the shape of a family tree, linking today’s young activists actions to Emily’s.
