Darkling

Bush Theatre – 2026

In this epic, brutal and damning play inspired by Bhopal (India) 1984 industrial incident, a young woman’s recounts her life, growing up with her family in the shadow’s of a giant factory, and the tragic night where their life gets ravaged by the ecological disaster.

For the artwork, created in collaboration with photographer Sebastian Nevols, we took inspiration from the corroded textures of the abandoned factory, and defaced a portrait of the actress by applying chemicals and rust onto a physical print.
