Pinocchio

National Theatre – 2017

This production is a re-imagining of Pinocchio, the story of a wooden puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy. Director John Tiffany described it to us as a tale of metamorphosis, which gave me the idea of a section of tree morphing into the profile of the hero.

I also designed an activity book and a merchandising range for the show.

The campaign was rolled out across the tube and the Blue Lady star was projected on the National Theatre flytower on press night.
