National Theatre – 2018

Set in Japan and North Korea, Francis Turnly’s epic new thriller The Great Wave is based on true events. The story follows the lives of sisters Hanako and Reiko, who get separated in a storm. Hanako gets abducted by North Korean agents, while her family clings on to the hope she didn’t drown.
I designed the inside spreads for the programme, including the cast list, article features, and biographies of the actors and creative team.
