The Wine Box
National Theatre – 2018
Every summer the National Theatre catering team commissions the graphic design studio to rebrand the food pop ups on the south bank, giving us permission to create something eye catching and ‘dare we say theatrical’. One of them was the Wine Box, a container bar serving a selection of British wines.
I suggested to use wood cladding to turn the ‘Wine Box’ into a giant wine case. The logo and the words ‘2018’ ‘Product of England’ and ’12 Btles’ were applied on the wood mimicking a burnt effect, and I created illustrations of a wine bottle and glass for the menu.
